Welcome to Northtowns Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Oral surgeons, also known as oral and maxillofacial surgeons, are dental specialists who have not only completed 4 years of dental school, but have also completed at least four years of surgical hospital residency.
Our oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Glen C. Donnarumma, DDS, is trained to treat and diagnose defects, injuries and diseases of the mouth, jaw, teeth, neck, gums and other soft tissues of the head. Wisdom teeth removal, dental implants and removal of tumors and cysts are problems that are commonly treated by our highly skilled surgeon. His expertise allows him to provide a very high quality of care, and his advanced training in anesthesia allows him to provide an extreme level of patient comfort in the safety of his two locations.
Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved.
Cinde Gross has been with Northtowns Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since May of 2008. She is a graduate of Bryant and Stratton Business Institute, and she holds an Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting.
Bone morphogenic protein is an isolated protein that induces specific cells in our body to form new cartilage and bone. During surgery, the BMP is soaked onto and binds with a collagen sponge. The sponge is then designed to resorb, or disappear, over time.
