Meet our Implant Team

Meet Dave Chalmers

Dave Chalmers is the Dental Implant Manager for our Practice.  He began working in oral surgery in 2004 as a dental implant specialist for a major implant manufacturer and began working for Northtowns Oral Surgery in 2008.  Dave’s experience in the dental field allows him to work closely with our referring offices to provide a high level of care for our implant patients.  

Dave also assists Dr. Donnarumma in our treatment consultations to ensure our patients have a complete understanding of the features, benefits and various stages involved in replacing your missing teeth with dental implants.

Our practice has instituted 3D x-ray technology along with digital impressions (no more goop!), and Dave is in charge of setting up your treatment plan in a computer software program for Dr. Donnarumma. This technological process provides a high level of accuracy and allows Dr. Donnarumma to place dental implants in an efficient and precise manner.

When he’s not working with dental implants, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie and his twin daughters, Lindsey and Morgan, and serving in his local church in Clarence.

Meet Shauna Maziarz

Shauna is the implant coordinator for our locations. She is from Tonawanda and proud to be a Tonawanda warrior. She has worked in the dental field since 2017. Shauna has many years of customer relations experience from working in the medical field and doing collections and sales. Needless to say, she is very much a people person. 

In her free time, Shauna enjoys her time with her husband and three kids. They love watching their Buffalo sports teams, going camping and spending time with their family and friends.
